DemixSweep: Privacy Policy & End-User License Agreement

Effective Date: January 28, 2026

I. PRIVACY POLICY

DemixSweep is engineered as a secure vault for system optimization. Our core architecture ensures that the "eyes" of the application are focused solely on your internal storage, with no bridge to the cloud for your personal data.

Intra-Device Processing & Data Isolation

DemixSweep is a specialized utility designed to identify and purge obsolete APK files, residual data, and temporary caches.

The Permission: To fulfill its role, the app requires access to your device’s file system.

Non-Extractive Analysis: Every scan and identification process is performed locally on your device. DemixSweep does not extract, upload, or mirror your file names, document contents, or folder structures.

Identity-Free Environment: We do not require account registration, email addresses, or any unique identifiers that link your physical identity to the app’s usage.

Technical Watchmen: Third-Party Platforms

To maintain the structural integrity of the app and evaluate our commercial reach, we interact with a limited selection of technical service providers.

Firebase (Google): Employed for real-time crash reporting. If the app encounters a fault, a pseudonymized technical log (device model, OS version) is generated to help us stabilize the software.

Analytics & Attribution (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These platforms assist us in measuring installation sources and marketing efficiency. They process technical identifiers such as your device’s Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).

Security Barrier: These third parties are strictly prohibited from accessing your file system or associating technical telemetry with your private life.

Legal Grounds for Data Handling

We manage information based on the following legal pillars:

Contractual Necessity: The local analysis of system files is essential to deliver the cleaning utility you have requested.

Legitimate Interests: We utilize non-sensitive technical metadata to prevent fraud, rectify software errors, and refine our market positioning.

Your Declaration of Rights

Regardless of your global location, DemixSweep recognizes your sovereignty over your data:

Right to Access: You may request access to any personal data processed by us. Since your files are stored locally, they remain accessible to you at all times; for technical interaction logs, you may reach out to our DPO.

Right to Rectification: You have the right to demand the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we or our partners may possess.

Right to Deletion: You may request the total erasure of your data. Uninstalling DemixSweep permanently destroys the local scan history and configuration settings.

Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is shared or sold. DemixSweep does not sell your personal information. Sharing is restricted to the technical operational partners listed in Section 2.

Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the explicit right to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data practices violate your privacy rights.

Retention Protocols: Time and Circumstances

Local Scan Results: This information is ephemeral. It exists in the device’s temporary memory only during an active scan and is purged upon the completion of the task or when the app is closed.

Technical Metadata: Non-identifiable data processed by third-party partners is retained only for the minimum duration required for aggregate performance reporting (typically 12 to 24 months) and is then permanently anonymized.

Choice and Opt-Out Mechanisms

We provide you with the power to limit your technical footprint:

Operating System Controls: You may opt-out of sharing technical identifiers by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system privacy settings.

Permission Revocation: You may withdraw file system access at any time through your device’s settings, which will instantly cease all scanning capabilities.

Governance and Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to serve as the custodian of our privacy standards.

DPO Name: Beatrix Thorne
